Created project plans may be shipped to anyone for use with their own copy of ProjectLibre.
Since the application may be installed on any workstation for any purpose, anyone interested in project management may actively apply task tracking, monitoring and controling for any project large or small, commercial or personal. There are no license costs to install or use the application.
Although ProjectLibre is an open source application, and the code used to build the tool is readily available, the book does not cover development in any detail. It is a starter's users guide.
It is not what I, or any medium ProjectLibre user, expect from a book named as "User Guide Reference Manual"

Worth Paying For!

I was frustrated to have to pay for a resource to understand and utilize Project Libre, which I was very excited to begin using, but this book was extremely helpful and well worth the price.

Useful but definitely not comprehensive

This book contains useful information, but for a so-called reference manual, I would like to see it go into much more depth. However, given the sparse documentation currently available for ProjectLibre, I think this book is worth purchasing for those trying to learn ProjectLibre. I would like to see a more comprehensive reference manual and also an updated book like Lisa Bucki's "OpenProj". This book is still useful for ProjectLibre since it is a fork of OpenProj. However, some of the screens and features have changed.
